I have traveled throughout the US, Europe, Haiti, Central America, and Canada working and speaking towards Social Justice issues and child care. Living in the most repressed neighborhood of Minneapolis has shaped my life to fight for hope and living every moment with compassion. I am a story teller by trade, but love unpacking scripture for kernels of truth to inspire my life and share with my audience. When I am not traveling and speaking, I spend my time among multiple other projects that have great meaning for me. I published my first book with my writing partner Henry Graf. Most recently I launched a new Simplicity Life Blog called Gatherhaus with award winning photographer Katrina Hannemann I also help run a small non profit, The Haiti Mission Project and speak on behalf on Compassion Int. for child sponsorship. In my spare time, I also head up an Urban Community Garden Project and put new products up on my Etsy shop . Click on the image above to learn about these projects and more.
I live intentionally in the present moment, the space between where I have been and where I dream of being. Here I share about what being a woman, wife and mother reveals in me. I love sharing about how God shapes me in my adventures on the road, or in the kitchen and in my garden. Sometimes you might even get a peak at what comes out of my attic art studio!
