Dani grew up in the outskirts of Detroit, MI. After graduating High School Dani traveled with a Youth Encounter team around the upper Midwest, which gave her a great opportunity to meet new people, and fall in love with the traveling nomadic ways. Feeling restless and wondering where life would take her next, Dani decided to go home and spend time with her family and start her college education. After a year of cheering her younger brother on in sports and attending community college, Dani moved herself to MN where she attended Concordia University, St. Paul. She studied theater, communication, theology and mission and outreach. Three years later Dani had her degree as a Director of Christian Outreach (DCO) in the LCMS. After graduation Dani worked in a local church in Minneapolis, MN, but knew almost right away that it takes a rare and special person to work in a church, and she was not that person. She went to work for Youth Encounter in their event ministry department and got to travel the country to organize and facilitate middle school and high school youth events. This gave Dani an amazing opportunity to study speakers, presentations, effective youth ministry, music ministry and sharing the gospel to youth in America. During this four year period, Dani started to feel the pull to share her story and encourage students and young adults in their walk with the Lord.

Before graduating High School, Dani took her first International mission trip to Haiti. As much as Dani dreamed of traveling the world and seeing all the countries she could find on a map, she left her heart in Haiti that first year, and continues to go back every year whenever she can. Her ministry started in Haiti with the Haiti Lutheran Mission Society (HLMS), but she now sits as a founding member of the Haiti Mission Project and serves as their Trip Director. Dani is moved and inspired by the courage and compassion and culture of the Haitian people. Their strength to survive is truly a gift from God. They worship him, trust him, and love him deeply everyday. They are a testament to the kind of faith Dani dreams of, strives for and teaches about.

Dani uses her everyday life experiences, Biblical truth, and International awareness to try to motivate and encourage others in their understanding of faith, God, and service. Dani wouldn't call herself a comedian, but she uses her humor in transparency to be real with her audience. Dani has one goal in mind when speaking, to bring truth in a way that youth will understand and be able to connect to. Dani has a heart for encouraging, for need awareness, and action in faith. She believes in service on a family, local, national and global scale. She has experienced how God brings heaven here to earth in every act of love that we participate in. Dani is interested in sharing her heart with you and your event. Please contact her if she can help in anyway make your gathering a success.
